Watercolor Fades Away

After fifteen years hosting some of rock and roll and folk music’s top names from a cozy dinner venue on the Boston Post Road, the Watercolor Cafe is closed it’s doors April 30.

It suffered financial difficulties for the last few years, even bringing in acts recently to raise money to keep it afloat.

On its Facebook page, owner Bruce Carroll writes, “We have had a wonderful 15-year run at our current location….Countless wonderful days and nights of friendship and great meals..Countless incredible musical moments…We are filled with gratitude for the support and kindness of all our friends over the years. It has truly been an honor to serve you…We hope that we have served you well…We look forward to serving you again!”
