Two Wrong-Way Incidents on Hutch, Other Parkways

We normally don’t cover traffic accidents, but these are worth your knowing about. Be careful out there.

First, a Pelham woman woman was charged with driving drunk in a Tuesday-night wrong-way crash on the Hutchinson River Parkway.

Police said Joanna Logan, 42,  drove a 2015 Honda Accord north on the southbound Hutch near Weaver Street when she hit another car head-on just south of Exit 20 around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Then on Thursday morning, Police in Westchester County arrested a man driving the wrong way down three parkways for nearly 12 miles.

Police say they started receiving 911 calls around 2:20 a.m. Thursday about a driver heading south in the northbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway.

Police say the man then drove east in the westbound lanes of the Cross County Parkway. He was finally pulled over while heading north in the southbound lanes of the Saw Mill River Parkway in Yonkers, police said.  No one was hurt in the second incident.
