It’s all about butterflies this Saturday at the Greenburgh Nature Center. Check out Flights of Fancy, a tour of the center’s new indoor butterfly exhibit. Local kids are putting on a special production of Red Riding Hood this Saturday at the Emelin Theatre. With 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. shows, audiences can enjoy the classic tale about a girl who goes to her grandmother’s house, with some surprise twists! www.emelin.org

 

Celebrate the gorgeous waters and parks of New Rochelle this Saturday. There will be a Lighted Boat Parade starting at 8 p.m., heading along the city’s shoreline. Academy award winner Susan Sarandon is making a special appearance at Pelham’s Picture House as a part of its An Evening With… series. Enjoy a complimentary wine reception this Sunday starting at 6:30 p.m., followed by a screening of her film Atlantic City. Sara
