HOLIDAY EVENTS:
Historic Hudson Valley is putting on a huge Thanksgiving Weekend event called “Gateway to the Holiday Season.” Van Cortlandt Manor, Philipsburg Manor, and Washington Irving’s Sunnyside Inn will all be participating. The venues will be decorated for the holidays in authentic period fashion, and guided tours will be available to learn about the traditions of the holiday seasons. Mamaroneck Artist’s Guild is having a Gift of Art Holiday Show and Boutique starting on Friday until January 2nd. There will be a selection of art at affordable prices, as well as other crafts like scarves and jewelry. www.mamaroneckartistsguild.org
The New Rochelle Humane Society is having their Annual Holiday Thrift Shop on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 am – 4 pm to benefit the Humane Society. There will be a large selection of items from Christmas decorations to handbags. www.newrochellehumanesociety.org
ARTS AND MUSIC:
On Saturday night at 8 pm, Paramount Center for the Arts is presenting award winning musician Michael Feinstein and TV and Broadway actor David Hyde Peirce for a night of music, comedy, and theater. Tickets are $35 – 55. www.paramountcenter.org

This Friday marks the beginning of the Mamaroneck Fire Department’s annual Toy Drive. From now until December 13th, drop off a new unwrapped toy at the fire station. www.tmfd.org

The Larchmont Farmer’s Market has added several new vendors, and will continue to run at the Larchmont train station on Saturday mornings through December 9th.

On Monday night, The Wine Vault in Mamaroneck will be having a Wine Blending course for $85. This advanced course will let you blend several different varieties together and then compare them to the winery’s own blend and the blends of your classmates. www.westchesterwineschool.com
PACE, the wonderful theater and dance program at Mamaroneck High School puts on an annual student choreographed dance performance called Kinesthesia. This year is the 35th anniversary of the event. Shows will be running each night from December 3rd to December 5th at 8 pm in the PACE auditorium.
