From Lynne  and Carrie McGranahan at the Larchmont Historical Society, a look at the The Larchmont Times from almost exactly 90 years ago.  Note the laying of the cornerstone for the bank in Mamaroneck.

The “Women’s Views” page reads like a modern day cross of Good Housekeeping and Cosmopolitan with exercise tips including the “tried and true bicycle,” relationship advice to the tune of “just refuse him … and you will soon discourage him” and recipe columns such as “A Two Dollar Dinner for Six.”
