Mother’s Day Weekend, New York Botanical Garden, Bronx

Saturday, May 9 & Sunday, May 10 from 10 am – 6 pm
The Biggest Garden Party Ever! Bring the whole family for live music, games, picnicking, and more—all surrounded by the most spectacular spring landscape New York has to offer. Tour the lovely native plant and azalea gardens. Kids can make an afternoon of crafting Mother’s Day cards. Enjoy a special brunch or view a dance performance on the Conservatory Lawn.

$30 Adult;$27 Student/Senior ;$15 Child
Children under 2: Free
Members: Free–Ticket includes all special weekend activities plus All-Garden Pass admission, which includes access to special exhibitions in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, Tram Tour, and more.

Lenoir Preserve,  Mother’s Day Warblers Walk, Yonkers

Sunday, May 10   8:00 am – 10:00 am – Free
Join members of Hudson River Audubon Society for the 25th anniversary of this annual tradition. Spring migrants will be searched for; followed by refreshments at the nature center.

Greenburgh Nature Center : Celebrate Animal Mom’s, Scarsdale

Sunday May 10 at 1 pm

Greenburgh Nature Center  loves moms, even the furry and four-legged ones! Join the staff to celebrate all moms on this special day. Visit with and learn about some of our animal moms and complete a Mother’s Day inspired craft. Members $5/person, Non-Members $8/person

Teatown Lake Reservation: Plant Sale, Ossining

Friday, May 8 from 4 pm – 7 pm (First Pick, general admission $10)

Saturday, May 9 from 9 am – 2 pm (Free admission).
Teatown Lake Reservation will offer a number of native plants, with a generous selection of perennials, annuals, herbs and vegetables. Each year, Teatown sells a few prized plants from Wildflower Island and offers free tours of the Island on the hour on Saturday at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm and 1 pm.

Lyndhurst Green House: Annual Plant Sale, Tarrytown

Saturday, May 9 from 10 am – 2 pm–Free
The Garden Club of Irvington and Hudson Valley Rock Garden Society present the annual pre-Mothers’ Day plant sale at the Lyndhurst Green House. You’ll find unusual plants from our members’ gardens, annuals grown at Lyndhurst, rock garden plants and troughs, organic vegetable plants, plus expert gardening advice and free tree seedlings while supplies last. Admission is free. Also participating are Mobius Fields, Children’s Village and Care of Trees.
