Steve Otis to Launch Campaign for Assembly

Steve Otis will kick off his campaign for the State Assembly at a reception at the home of his boss and mentor, retiring State Senator Suzi Oppenheimer.

Oppenheimer and her husband Martin will host a fundraising reception for the Assembly campaign of Otis, for 27 years the Senator’s Counsel and Chief of Staff, and a former 3-term Mayor of Rye.

Otis hopes to serve the 91st Assembly District which covers Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle, Port Chester, Rye Brook and Rye. The seat is held now by George Latimer, who is running for Oppenheimer’s seat in the State Senate.

Otis announced his candidacy in March.

The cocktail reception will be held at the Oppenheimer’s home at 400 Claflin Avenue on Saturday June 16th from 4 – 6 PM. The suggested contribution for a ticket is $75.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.steveotisassembly.com.

We should all remember how Steve Otis treated Bob Schubert an 89 WWII veteran after the City tried to have him committed to the Psychiatric unit of the Westchester County Medical Center in effort to cover up Rye City’s intentional mistakes.

Her is a clip of Steve Otis lying to the public about Mr. Schubert

Your vote for Otis will condone this treatment to our veterans.

BTW, Commander Robert W. Schubert will be watching this election very closely from above, he has since passed away on January 5th 2012

I don’t see anything in that article that implicates Steve Otis in the whole thing. Am I missing something here?
