It’s Spring Break. We’ll try and have fun here this week.
Once a year, when he’s not lobbying for gun control or outlawing soda, New York City Mayor Bloomberg (and Mayors before him…) performs in the Inner Circle Show, a 100-year old tradition wherein the City press lampoon him in a song and dance review for a couple of hours and he responds with the cast of a Broadway play.
Veteran Westchester TV Journalists John Slattery, Kirstin Cole, yours truly and others roasted him on stage this past weekend. Then he came back at us with the casts of Rock of Ages, Phantom of the Opera, Annie and Nice Work if You Can Get It.
It’s Bloomberg’s last show, as he leaves office this year.
