Some Mamaroneck Voters Endured Long Waits

Some residents report waiting up to three hours to vote in Tuesday’s Democratic primary at Mamaroneck Town Center. Here, the line snakes out the Center entrance and down the West Boston Post Road.

Primary election results will be tallied for several weeks as hundreds of thousands of voters used absentee ballots this year.

With early voting for 9 days starting June 13th you chose to arrive at the poll in the last hour and obviously were not the only one who decided to wait till the ultimate hour. And with the governor promoting absentee ballots due to SARS-CoV-2 virus you still went to your polling place at 8:20pm to find a long line of voters made the same choice.
