Can you imagine? Sheppie, this adorable Pomeranian mix, was given up simply because his family changed its mind about caring for a dog.
Never mind, though. A mere 20 pounds, with a delightfully cheery demeanor to boot, this 10-month-old guy is hanging out at the New Rochelle Humane Society while awaiting a new family ready and able to share the love. Anyone with room in his or her heart can’t go wrong.
The $140 adoption fee covers the costs of Sheppie’s heartworm test, micro-chip, collar, ID tags, starter bag of food and training classes.
