The annual butterfly exhibit at the Greenburgh Nature Center in Scarsdale is attracting many small visitors this year. Located in a new plant meadow, vistors can walk into a natural setting to learn about butterflies and the native plants they depend upon.
The experience is amazing at any age, but for youngsters, having a monarch butterfly land on your finger is truly awesome.
The exhibit is open daily 10 AM to 3 PM ( closed Fridays) thru August 2. It is free for members. Non-members: $11 adults, $10 seniors/students, $9 children ages 2-12, under 2 free. Fees include admission to the Manor House where there a live animals you can touch and hold.
All visitors must see receptionist in Manor House to receive a stamp prior to entering the butterfly exhibit.
