Closed? That’s terrible. They had the best Italian food in our area hands down. Nothing can compare to their bruschetta, or marinara sauce, and the owners were so friendly. That restaurant will be much-missed by those of us who were lucky enough to discover it.
Popular?
We ate there. Not close to thrilled. La Reserva, etc. are far better.
We passed it many times at dinner time–often empty, or close.
Not surprised that it died.
Has anyone a count of how many restaurants in that location all failed, one after the other–there have been quite a few, and this one lasted longer than most of them.
What a terrible shame that Sardegna has closed. The best, freshest Italian food in Larchmont, and a lovely owner/host who brought the pride and culture of his birthplace, the island of Sardegna, to Larchmont Avenue.
