4/9/13, Fraud Offenses
John Holmes of Port Chester, New York, the owner of New England Sportswear, which sells uniforms to police and fire departments, submitted a fraudulent letter of warranty for products sold by Blauer Manufacturing Inc. Blauer Manufacturing Inc. is a public safety clothing manufacturer located in Massachusetts. The letter was in support of a bid submission to the City of Rye police department. The purpose of this warranty was for the City of Rye to award the uniform contract to Holmes.
In reality, a warranty was never provided by Blauer, and New England Sportswear was never a vendor for Blauer Manufacturing Inc.
Holmes was was charged with offering a false instrument for filing in the First Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a forged instrument in the Second Degree. His next court date is set for 5/7/13. He faces a maximum sentence of four years in state prison.

4/11/13, Grand Larceny- 4th Degree
Three Eco Gas Power leaf blowers ($1500) were stolen from a car driveway located on 156 Weaver Street.
4/11/13, Identity Theft- 1st Degree
Complainant received a call from a company called Lending Club about a loan in the victim’s name. The victim, however, did not take out a loan from the club.
4/14/13, Criminal Mischief- 3rd Degree
Two hammer drills ($275) and a saw ($250) were stolen from two vans located on 6 Locust Terrace. The victim’s vehicles were also damaged; windows were broken on both vans.

Complainant stated she left her wallet at Dunkin’ Donuts located on 427 East Boston Post Road, and when she went back to retrieve it, the wallet was gone.
4/12/2013, Arrest
A 46 y.o male from White Plains was charged with two counts of scheme to defraud in the 2nd degree. He went door to door asking for money pretending to be a relative of a neighbor in need of money.
4/13/2013, Larceny
Victim reports a laptop, ipad, and personal papers were taken from his vehicle while parked in lot located on West Boston Post Road at Equinox.

DWI ARREST
A New Rochelle woman was arrested on 4/6 after she was observed operating a motor vehicle on Boston Post Rd and committing multiple traffic infractions. Raquel CASTRO,22, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, and released on $0 bail.
