Police Blotters, Town and Village of Mamaroneck

These are the the complaints filed by the Town and Village of Mamaroneck Police Departments. The Village of Larchmont Police have continued to deny our requests for detailed police reports.

Town of Mamaroneck:

May 24 – Cab service reports that person dropped off at in front of Building #7 at Larchmont Acres Apartments paid with counterfeit $100 bill. Cabbie quickly realized it was a fake bill and person immediately fled on foot.

May 23 – Fraud – Resident on Lundy Lane reports someone created a fraudulent Paypal account and charged $609.

May 12 – Petty Larceny $15 in coins stolen from unlocked car in driveway on Murray Ave.

May 9 – Leaving the scene of an accident: Car owner leaves Staples to find car damaged in parking lot.

May 6 – Leaves scene of accident:  Car owner comes out of Trader Joe’s to find car damaged.

Village of Mamaroneck:

Reminder: No leaf blowers this summer!

May 27 Village Code Violation – Summons issued for unleashed dog at Harbor Island Park

May 24 Village Code Violation – Leaf blower summons issued on Guion Drive. The operation of leaf blowers is prohibited between May 15 and September 30.

May 24 Larceny – Dispute erupts over the theft of a cell phone in the front of Grand Street location. Investigation ongoing.

May 28 Larceny – 43 year old Yonkers man charged with petty theft (misdemeanor) for taking $180 from Arctic Glacier, 500 Fenimore Road.
