Police reports for the week ending March 6.

 

Town of Mamaroneck-

Grand Larceny in the 4th degree. Suspect cashed three checks dated from July 5 2013. These checks valued $1439, $373, $195.

Petty Larceny- NYS license plate was found missing outside victim’s home off Rockridge Road. It is unknown whether these plates were misplaced or stolen.

 

Village of Mamaroneck-

March 6- Fraud. Victim received phone call from man claiming to be from the IRS. Suspect said he owed money and gave instructions to buy prepaid debit cards and relay information to him over the phone. Suspect realized this was a scam.

March 6- Assault. 29 year old male assaulted another male and was sent to the hospital for facial lacerations. Investigation pending.

March 4- DWI. Drunk driving incident occurred on Harmon Drive. Suspect damaged electrical wiring.  Westchester Fire Control was present at the scene and notified police.  FD,EMS and Con Ed were also present at the scene. Suspect was released on $100 bail and is due in court.

 

As of 3/13, the Village of Larchmont has not updated its online blotter since February 22, and will not allow us access to it in person or by phone.
