Police report the following activity in late February and early March:
Town of Mamaroneck:
Threatening phone call made to residential home. Harassment in the second degree. February 25 2014-
Village of Mamaroneck:
Fraud and possible abduction– An unknown caller called the complainant and stated that a family member was in an accident and being held until money was received. The family member in question was contacted and was safe and not involved in any accident.
March 1 2014.
Suspect was in possession with marijuana and PCP and was charged with disorderly conduct for refusing to cooperate. March 1 2014.
Larceny. Copper Scrap metal stolen from driveway valued at $250. February 27 2014
Residential Burglary. Several credit cards were stolen from home and never recovered. February 26 2014.
Village of Larchmont:
PENAL LAW ARREST
A Mamaroneck Village man was arrested on 2/16 after he was stopped for driving a vehicle on Boston Post Rd and committing a traffic infraction. A woman, 26, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and released on his own recognizance.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Virginia Pl resident reported on 2/17 that someone fraudulently opened a Verizon Cellular account in his name.
PENAL LAW ARREST
A Mamaroneck Village man was arrested on 2/18 after he was stopped for driving a vehicle on Palmer Ave and committing a traffic infraction. A man, 34, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; he was released on $250 bail.
PENAL LAW ARREST
A homeless man was arrested by Larchmont Police Detectives on 2/21 after he was observed by the Detectives walking on Chatsworth Ave. He had been identified as the suspect in two burglaries at a Boston Post Rd establishment earlier this year. A man, 25, was charged with two counts of Burglary 3rd and one count of Attempted Burglary 3rd. He was arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail.
