A 46 year old black male from Brooklyn attempted to withdraw money from someone’s bank account on Mamaroneck Avenue. He was found with a fraudulent ID and was also in possession of a controlled substance (cocaine). He was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, criminal impersonation in the second degree, identity theft in the third degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree

A Chatsworth Ave resident reported on 7/8 that sometime during the daytime hours someone removed a child stroller that she had left outside of the front door of her residence.
LARCENY
A Rockwood Drive resident reported on 7/10 that someone entered his vehicles, which had been parked in the driveway of his residence and left unlocked, and removed property valued at $350.
Odd that the VOM police needed the adjective “black” in describing the already in custody person. I hate it when there is a crime and the perp is at large and the media and/or police give a description such as five feet 10, wearing a blue shirt, yet fail to say whether white, black, hispanic, etc. Yet in this case, it is gratuitous.
