IDENTITY THEFT

A Knollwood Drive man said an unknown person was making unauthorized withdrawals from his bank account. June 3

LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT

A 24-year-old New Rochelle man was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, unlicensed operation of a motorcycle and following too closely, all violations, after a Hickory Grove Road woman said her car was struck while she was turning into her driveway. June 3

LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT

A Bronx woman said she was struck by a red van while driving on Weaver Street at about 3:15 p.m. The driver of the van left the scene and was not found by police. June 4

GRAFFITI

A stone shed at the Badger Swim Club on Rockland Avenue was spray-painted with green paint. June 4

GRAND LARCENY

A Crescent Road woman reported that she lost her wallet on May 29 and an unknown person had made unauthorized charges on one of her missing credit cards at Stop & Shop at 1326 Boston Post Road. June 6

LARCHMONT

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Bronx man was arrested on 6/3 and charged with operating with a suspended license after he was observed operating his vehicle on Boston Post Rd.  The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on $200 bail.

LARCENY

< p align="JUSTIFY"> A Beach Ave resident reported on 6/3 that sometime the day someone stole his bicycle, valued at $350, from Railroad Way.

RYE

CAR STOLEN

A Summit Avenue resident reported that his car was stolen from his driveway overnight.  The owner of the car said he had left the keys and his cell phone in the car. Police located the car, which had been struck overnight in a hit-and-run and towed. June 1

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Heritage Lane resident reported that the driver-side window of her car was broken overnight but nothing was taken. June 1

LARCENY FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE

A Beary Court resident said the passenger-side window of her car was broken and her handbag and keys were taken sometime overnight. The handbag was recovered in a neighbor’s yard. June 1

ANIMAL STRUCK

A deer was struck by a vehicle at Boston Post Road and Barlow Lane at about 9 p.m. June 2

THEFT FROM BUILDING

A Consolidated Edison employee reported that a computer went missing from a cabinet in the building at 511 Theodore Fremd Avenue on May 10. June 3

SUSPENDED LICENSE

A 31-year-old West Harrison man was arrested for driving with a suspended license at about 2 a.m. on HIllside Road . June 4

THEFT FROM BUILDING

A Westchester Medical Group employee reported that $370 in cash was stolen from a safe inside the building at 1 Theall Road. Several bags containing money were left in the safe. June 4

VANDALISM

A Rye High School security officer reported that he witnessed two students placing 15 adhesive stickers on his Chevrolet. The damage was estimated at $50. June 4

HIT AND RUN

An Ormond Place resident reported that his car was hit while in the parking lot at Rye Town Park at about 6 p.m. June 4

NOISE COMPLAINT

Police observed several youths drinking alcohol in a North Street garage at about 12:30 a.m. Police said they found numerous empty beer cans, an empty bottle of vodka, several shot glasses and a beer pong table. The homeowner said he was unaware that the kids were drinking alcohol in his house. June 5

AIDED CASE

A 22-year-old woman was found laying in a flower bed at an Evergreen Avenue residence at about 3:30 a.m.. She was transported to Greenwich Hospital. June 5

RULES OF THE ROAD

A 33-year-old Port Chester man was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating a car while using a cell phone at Boston Post Road and Old Post Road at about 10:30 a.m. June 5

SUSPENDED LICENSE

A Bridgeport, Conn., man was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at about 3:30 p.m. on Midland Avenue. June 6

AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT

A Milton Road woman said unknown persons were calling her home pretending to be bank representatives and threatening to close her accounts. June 7

BOAT THEFT

A  boat-owner said someone used his boat between May 31 and June 5 without his permission while it was docked at Rye Marina. He said he found empty beer cans and some unopened beer bottles on board. June 7

SCARSDALE

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A resident reported a sick fox between Chase Road and Crane Road at about 10:30 a.m. The animal was not located by police. June 1

WALKER COMPLAINT

A caller complained that an unknown person was walking in the wrong direction on the Scarsdale High School track at about 11:30 a.m. The person was gone upon police arrival. June 1

IDENTITY THEFT

A Valley Road resident said an unknown person used her social-security number for tax purposes. June 1

BURGLARY ATTEMPT

An Oak Way resident said an unknown person tried to break into her home through her front door sometime overnight. The homeowner noticed in the morning that the door was damaged around the frame and lock. No entry was gained. June 1

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A resident reported a dead possum at about 11 a.m. at 37 Wayside Lane. June 2

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

A caller reported a suspicious black Lexus at 70 Penn Boulevard at about 1 p.m. Police found the car and the driver, who stated he was "hanging out" until he had to go to work. No further action was taken. June 2

LARCENY FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE

A Rectory Lane resident reported that his wallet was stolen from his Toyota. June 2

NOISE COMPLAINT

A Nelson Road resident complained about kids playing basketball and making noise at Edgewood School at about 9 p.m. The kids were found playing basketball and left without incident. June 2

NOISE COMPLAINT

A caller complained of loud music coming from Saxon Woods Golf Course at about 10 p.m. June 3

NOISE COMPLAINT

A caller complained about kids making noise at Edgewood School at about 11:30 p.m.. The parties were advised to leave the property. June 3

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A group of youths were observed spraying graffiti using red spray paint on a garbage can and on Jefferson Road at about 3:30 a.m. The suspects fled but left behind a spray can. No arrests were made. June 4

LARCENY FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE

A Brite Avenue resident reported that her wallet was stolen from her Toyota overnight. June 4

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A resident reported seeing a coyote in the area of Fayette Road and Carthage Road at about 9 a.m. The area was searched but no animal was found. June 4

LARCENY FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE

A Huntington Avenue resident reported that his Toyota and his BMW were entered overnight. June 4

SUSPICIOUS PEOPLE

A Stonehouse Road resident reported that he saw suspicious teens in front of his neighbor’s house at about 9:30 p.m. No youths were located. June 4

DUMPING

A River Road resident reported contents were dumped in the wooded area across the street from her house. Police found an old dresser and arranged for removal. June 5.

NOISE COMPLAINT

A resident complained of loud music coming from Carthage and Mamaroneck roads at about 1:15 p.m. A small party was being held at an area residence, but police determined the music was not at an "alarming level."  No violations were issued. June 5

HARASSMENT

A caller reported that her granddaughter and her granddaughter’s boyfriend were followed by two vehi
cles while walking near Fox Meadow School at about 10:20 p.m. The kids said the vehicles approached them and the people in the cars yelled something at them. They could not provide a description of the vehicles or the people. Police canvassed the area but did not find the alleged offenders. June 5

NOISE COMPLAINT

A resident complained of a party with loud youths at Normandy Lane and Griffen Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. June 5

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

A caller complained of numerous youths on her Grand Park Avenue property at about 10:30 p.m. The youths were gone upon police arrival. June 5

NOISE COMPLAINT

A resident complained of numerous youths in the street on Wayside Lane at about 11:15 p.m.. Police observed youths in vehicles leaving the vicinity, but did not observe any youths gathering. June 5

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Seven mailboxes on Broadmoor Road were damaged at about 10:30 p.m. No arrests were made. June 5

NOISE COMPLAINT

A Cohawney Road resident complained of youths in the street making noise at about 1:30 a.m. June 6

FIREWORKS COMPLAINT

A resident reported seeing live fireworks on the ground near Palmer Avenue and Mamaroneck Road at about 9:30 a.m. The fireworks were not located. June 6
