Pet Projects in Mt. Vernon and Larchmont

From the Mt. Vernon Shelter, and (below that) Larchmont Pet Rescue:

If you love a good dog story, you will want to meet Bonnie!  She was found tied up with her brother to the side of our fence when the staff arrived in the morning, and was skin and bones and terribly afraid.  Her nails were so long that
it was obvious this poor girl had not been walked in months.  She sat at the back of her kennel and was in shell-shock for her first few days but we did not give up on her.

Amazingly, with a a few weeks of TLC by the volunteers/staff, and even a few hours of fun at our Tag Sale Fundraiser, Bonnie became the wiggle-butt dog we knew she could be.  She has been professionally evaluated and has no issues at all. Bonnie is  approximately 12-18 months and has a very sweet temperment, always enjoying her walks and leaning in for petting and snuggling. She is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations and waiting for her special someone to teach her how much fun being a dog can really be!
Please come to Mount Vernon Animal Shelter to meet her or check her out at http://www.mtvernonanimals.org/

Max & Milo are darling, orange tabby brothers, about 16 weeks old now.  These two boys are super sweet, purr loudly and love to have their bellies rubbed.  Living in a foster home, they are receiving lots of TLC.  Max & Milo are neutered, in excellent health and up to date with all vaccinations.  The adoption donation for each is $75.  If you love orange kitties, please contact Larchmont Pet Rescue at 914-834-6955 or visit www.NY-Petrescue.org to meet Max & Milo.
