No Suspects in Brazen Radio Shack Robbery in New Rochelle

NewRochellePoliceNew Rochelle Police say they are still looking for two people that robbed the Radio Shack in New Rochelle of electronics and cash at gunpoint after tying up two employees and a customer. The store is next to the Super Stop and Shop on Palmer Avenue, and robbers would have had to escape through a busy parking lot.

Detective Capt. Joseph Schaller said no one was injured during the brazen 8:45 p.m. Friday robbery at the 2425 Palmer Ave. store.

“One robber stormed into the store brandishing a silver handgun, according to Schaller and forced the two employees and one customer to a back room. The customer and employees had their hands tied.

The robbers took electronics and cash.  The victims freed themselves and called police.
