Complaint Reports from the New Rochelle Police for April 12-20, 2011:







LARCENY:  A radio valued at $300 and CDs were stolen from a car parked on 41st Street. The next day, the owner of the car overheard a man talk about stealing the radio, and approached him. The suspect never returned the radio as promised. Reported April 12.

FRAUD: A 19-year-old Bronx woman was arrested after trying to cash a forged payroll check for $557.03 at a Chase Bank on Pelham Road. April 12.

LARCENY: A Davenport Road man reported his 2009 Yamaha motorcycle stolen. April 12.

DRUG TRAFFICKING: Police arrested a 23-year-old Horton Avenue man after finding him in possession of 80 bags of heroin, two grams of crack and one ounce of marijuana. The arrest for possession and intent to sell drugs followed a month-long investigation. April 12.

LARCENY: Police arrested a 43-year-old Mamaroneck man outside Stop and Shop on Harrison Street for stealing a shopping cart full of beer. April 15.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Five men demanded wallets and cell phones from two teenagers, punching one of the youths in the face before running away on Lakeside Drive. April 15.

BURGLARY:  Someone stole about $350 worth o Playstation video games and equipment from a 6th Street apartment. April 15.

LARCENY: Someone stole a total of 16 wheels from five vehicles parked at Auto Sunroof of Larchmont on Nardozzi Place. April 16.

LARCENY: An Apple iPod worth about $300 was stolen from a car parked on Center Avenue. The passenger side window of the car was broken. April 16.

PUBLIC RUDENESS: A 27-year-old Bronx man was arrested after a Palmer Avenue resident discovered him masturbating in a parked car. April 16.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: One of two men punched a man on North Avenue after he refused to give them his money. The suspects ran away. April 19.

LARCENY: Four residents reported larcenies from cars, including three parked on Palmer Avenue and one on Cooper Drive, overnight April 18-19. Two GPS systems, a radar detector and an iPod were stolen. April 19.

BURGLARY: Someone broke the front window of and stole a cash register containing about $75 from Kennedy Fried Chicken on North Avenue. April 20.

BURGLARY: Someone stole a 5-Euro bill after breaking the front window of One Love Barber Shop on North Avenue. April 20.
