The Humane Society of Westchester’s Thrift Shop, for several years one of the area’s best second-hand shops, and one whose proceeds go to help shelter animals (sales directly benefit the animals at the Humane Society of Westchester), will be closing its doors on Sunday, January 27th.
It has operated in the community at different locations for a little under 40 years.
The Thrift Shop will no longer be accepting any donations. It will be open January 26-27, from 10am to 3pm to sell whatever bargains are left.
My mom Lucille Baskerville volunteered here for many years.
