Daymaker is an online kid-to-kid giving platform that helps parents introduce the concept of giving back to their kids. With Daymaker, you can read about local children in need and buy gifts from their holiday wish lists directly from the site. There’s no need to ever step foot into a store. Daymaker works with high-impact nonprofit partners to deliver items to the children in time for the holidays.

One of these nonprofit partners is right in our backyard. Westchester residents can give special holiday gifts to about 200 children from Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle.

Take a look at daymaker.com/give/holidays to learn more.

Beautifully framed local postcards (and maps) are available from Circle 7. Here’s a look at their amazing  inventory.

“We are constantly adding to the postcard inventory,” say owners Paul and Elizabeth Mahoney, ” so there are more than what is shown in the album.”

Happy Shopping.

MacInspires offers an opportunity for kids up to age 15 to create a gift in its 3D Design and Printing workshop, one of several offered this time of year. Examples from the past include 3D holiday cards, trophies, desk organizers, jewelry, artwork and more.

“There’s nothing like designing your own gift to give to family or friends, says MacInspires’ Travis Sluss.  “It’s unique and from the heart, not mass produced and can be totally customized.”

Other workshops include Creating Video Games with Scratch (Ages 8-13), Hour of Code Robot Extravaganza (Ages 5-7) FREE Workshop, and more.
