Mrs. Matilda Risoli Sisca entered eternal rest on Saturday June 11, 2011. She was 101 years old.
Matilda was born to Joseph and Assunta Candella Risoli in Harrison, N.Y. Along with her parents, Matilda had also been pre-deceased by her husband, Dr. Anthony Sisca, as well as her five siblings. They are Joseph Risoli, Benjamin Risoli, Grace Risoli Ciraco, Mary Risoli Marcone and Clare Risoli.
Matilda, who celebrated her 101st birthday in February, graduated from the College of New Rochelle with a masters degree in education, and taught for over 40 years at Harrison High School.
She is survived by three generations of nieces and nephews. Aunt “Tillie” was a caring and loving aunt and will truly be missed by all.
Mrs. Sisca’s family will be recieving friends on Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at St. Gregory the Great Church 10 a.m. Interment to follow at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle, N.Y.
