Mamaroneck High School’s prestigious PACE (Performing Arts Curriculum Experience) proudly presents its fall production of Bertolt Brecht’s The Caucasian Chalk Circle beginning this evening and running through Saturday, October 17 at 7:30 PM in the PACE Theatre at Mamaroneck High School.
“A morality masterpiece in which a servant girl sacrifices everything to protect a child abandoned in the heat of civil war. Order restored, she is made to confront the boy’s biological mother in a legal contest over who deserves to keep him. The comical judge calls on an ancient tradition – the chalk circle – to resolve the dispute. Who wins?”
Due to the subject matter of the play, parental guidance under the age of 14 is suggested. Tickets $5 students; $8 adults and can be purchased in the PACE theatre lobby at lunch and after school. Tickets also on sale at door pending availability.
