Suspect Charged in Mamaroneck Bank Rob

Mamaroneck Village police report the suspect in the robbery pictured left, that occured Friday, was arrested within 7 hours and $5,308.00 was recovered.

The suspect, identified as Maximillian Conley Kvetan, 29 years of age of Las Vegas Nevada, was arrested and charged with Robbery 3rd and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd.

He is currently being held pending arraignment in Village of Mamaroneck Court.

Mamaroneck police are searching for a man who robbed the Chase Bank branch at 101 Mamaroneck Ave. around 12:30 p.m. today.Police describe the man as a white or Hispanic male in his 20s, 6 foot-tall, medium build. He was wearing a black baseball cap and black T-shirt.They say the suspect did not display a weapon during the robbery.

Police have not disclosed what was taken. They did say the suspect fled the bank on foot going northbound on the Boston Post Road headed toward Rye.
