Ben Cohen, 26, son of Susan and Chaim Cohen of Larchmont, the owners of Fenimore Plumbing Supply and C Cohen Plumbing and Heating, clearly didn’t think the family business was for him.
Ever hear of the “Talking Ted” app? Well, we hadn’t either, but, like, over 15 million people downloaded it. And he developed it, and many more.
Ben tells us his business, Ten 5 Studio, an app development specialist agency he founded in 2011, has been “working with some of the biggest brands on the planet, putting out apps that reached the top of iTunes top-charts.” As a result, it was just bought by Vertic, a big international Digital Agency.
Says Newsday, “Despite its relative infancy, it has won accounts and client projects from leading brands such as Universal Studio, Skype and LG.”
Not bad for MHS Class of 2005. theLoop salutes him!
