2/14/13 Community activist and author Luis Quiros, was arrested while sitting in a car in front of a Mamaroneck home because he looked suspicious. Quiros is due in Village Court on February 28, 2013.

Victim reports unknown person entered his vehicle that was parked/unlocked on street & took a bag with bank checks. The case is still under investigation.
2/12/13 Burglary- Residential Mamaroneck Avenue
Victim reports unknown person(s) entered the residence and took property including an Xbox with games, Playstation unit, and flat-screen TV. The case is still under investigation.
2/13/13 Burglary- Commercial, Palmer Avenue
Complainant reports unknown person entered the bldg and took electronic equipment. imac computers and several cameras were taken; the case is still under investigation.
2/15/13 Burglary/Residential, Washington Street
Victim reports unknown person entered her residence & took property. Including: Jewelry, an ipad, and a laptop. The case is still under investigation.
2/17/13 Accident Vehicle, West Street
1-30 y.o male from Harrison charged with DWI and possession of controlled substance. Also issued summons for leaving the scene of an auto accident. He is due back in village court on 2/21/13. The case is still under investigation.

Someone attempted a cash transfer with the victim’s card. However, the transfer was not able to fully go through. The case is still under investigation.

Grand Larceny 2nd Degree/Exceeds
The incident took place in May 2012, but the victim notified the police in the Town of Mamaroneck on February 14, 2013. The victim was a part of a sweepstakes scan that involved a money card worth $504.95. The victim believes she may have lost more money, possibly more than a thousand dollars. The case is still under investigation.

A scofflaw vehicle with $620 in outstanding fines was impounded from Palmer Ave on 2/12.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A Brewster man reported on 2/13 that sometime during the overnight hours someone damaged the door lock cylinder on his vehicle while it was parked in Lot 6.

A Woods Way resident reported on 2/13 that sometime during the day someone caused damage to his vehicle while it was parked in Lot 3.
VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST
A Beach Ave man was arrested on 2/14 and charged with operating with a suspended license after he was observed driving a vehicle on Jochum Ave and committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on his own recognizance.
