A new face will join the 5-member Larchmont Village Board of Trustees next month. Sarah Bauer managed to edge out Carol Miller in an unusual contested election in the Village Tuesday.
Bauer ran outside the official Democratic ticket under the “Preserve Larchmont” banner focused primarily on development concerns. 814 of the village’s 4.098 registered voters cast ballots. Trustee Peter “Bubba” Fanellii was the top vote getter with 560. Bauer attracted 463 votes and Miller received 402. Larchmont Mayor Lorraine Walsh ran unopposed.
