Village Manager Position to be Established
According to Larchmont Mayor Anne McAndrews, the Village is the last in Westchester County to get a Village Manager, a post considered mandatory by most municipalities.
“There is only so much a 60 hour a week volunteer can do,” McAndrews said recently, referring to her own job.
Monday evening the Village Board began consideration of local law to establish the position of  Village Administrator/Clerk.   The recently retired Clerk’s position and salary would be folded into the new job.
