The developer that purchased the historic Larchmont Manor home that is now at the center of a citizens’ campaign for a building moratorium began the appeal process against the moratorium this week.
On Monday, the planning board reviewed KOSL Building Group‘s bid for exclusion  from the six-month moratorium on demolition and subdivision in residential neighborhoods.
The planning board will make its recommendations to the Board of Trustees, who will convene at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday to discuss the recommendations.
If granted, the developer could move forward with its project to demolish the home at 40 Ocean Ave. and subdivide the 1.57-acre property to build four new homes.
