11 year old Caden Philip of Larchmont sounded just like a seasoned sports announcer when he joined SNY TV’s award winning broadcast team of Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling to call the bottom of the 3rd inning of the NY Mets game live on SNY.

Caden is the winner of the 2019 Kidcaster Contest. Showing no signs of nervousness he flawlessly called the plays like a pro in Thursday’s game against San Diego. As Caden called the action, Mets legend Hernandez patted the boy’s shoulder and declared “very good!”

Caden, who enters 6th grade in September, plays baseball and as pitcher recently threw a no-hitter.  By the way, the Mets won 0-4. Click the video below to watch Caden’s great performance.
