Larchmont’s Susan Fox just went from #2 to #1 at White Plains Hospital.
“Susan Fox has taken the helm of White Plains Hospital at a time of unprecedented competition for patients in Westchester,” says Jeannie Ashford of Harrison and Edwards Public Relations. ” She gets to execute her strategy to redefine the community hospital in response to changes in Westchester’s demographics and medical needs. She now gets to implement the hospital’s new affiliation with Montefiore, which views White Plains Hospital as a regional hub of its Hudson Valley network.”
Fox began her career as a pediatric intensive care nurse. She served as Senior Manager of Health Care Consulting at Ernst & Young and then spent 14 years at North Shore-LIJ as Senior Vice President, Physician and Ambulatory Network Services. She joined White Plains Hospital in 2010 as Senior Vice President of Administration and was named President in January, 2013.
Fox succeeds Jon B. Schandler, who retired as CEO on April 30, after 38 years of service to the institution.
