Larchmont Man Pulled from Water at Harbor Island, Mamaroneck

A 64 year old Larchmont man was pulled from the waters off Harbor Island Park Friday.

Village of Mamaroneck Police, Fire and EMS responded about 11:20 am to a 911 call reporting a man possibly drowning in the East Basin area of the Park.

Officers Dominick Carelli Jr and Anthony Fraioli Jr entered the water and were able to pull the man out and onto dry land with the assistance of other officers and fire department personnel.

CPR was administered on scene and the man was taken to Montefiore/New Rochelle Hospital by Mamaroneck EMS for further treatment.

In May, 2011 a 28-year old man drowned in the waters off Harbor Island Park.
