Refugees in Syria will receive donated goods from volunteers at congregations in Larchmont and Mamaroneck very soon, thanks to the efforts of Neighbors for Refugees.
“Our core group consists of people from congregations only in Larchmont and Mamaroneck,” says Neighbors for Refugees Board Member Holly Rosen Fink.
A huge clothing and necessary items drive at St. John’s Episcopal Church over the weekend (no more items are being accepted) will fill up a truck that will be at St Johns on Thursday from 10 am – 1 pm.
Volunteers are still needed to help there, Thursday.
