Injured man being loaded into an ambulance outside Trump Plaza in New Rochelle Tuesday night.

A 63 Year-old Larchmont man was at the wheel of a 2018 Mercedes Tuesday night when it plowed into the lobby of the luxury Trump Plaza Building.

New Rochelle Police say the driver appeared to have “blackout out” while driving north on Le Count Place near New Roc City at about 8:47PM, failing to make the left turn onto Huguenot Street and crashing straight into the building’s front entrance.

Both the driver and the 41 year-old Concierge at the building were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.  Neither appears to have been seriously injured.

Although the building bears the Trump name, it is not owned by the Trump Organization.  It is rarely marketed as “Trump Plaza” in real estate listings and a picture of Donald Trump that once hung in the vestibule has been taken down.
