LARCHMONT and MAMARONECK–It’s that time of year again, beautiful summer days and nights and the usual question becomes, “what shall we do tonight?” Look no further than right down the block because the Villages of Larchmont and Mamaroneck are filled with activities for July.
Don’t have any plans for the 4th yet? Here are some ideas: Larchmont’s Manor Park welcomes everyone to come down to the park on July 4th for their celebration concert. Band The Dixie Dandies are set to perform. The concert will start at 7:15.
Love amusement park rides and games, cotton candy and fried dough? Well head down to Harbor Island, Mamaroneck for the 63rd Annual Fireman’s Carnival. The carnival begins on June 29th and will last through July 5th.
The wonderful tradition of Harbor Island fireworks continues! It will be a spectacle that you can’t miss. The fireworks are free however, make sure you find a spot on the soccer fields early because it will fill up fast. The firework show will happen on Sunday July, 4th at 9:00 pm. By any chance that the firework show is rained out then the fireworks will be moved to Monday the 5th (the next day).
Larchmont’s Flint Park Summer Concert Series kicks off on Thursday July, 7th. The concerts are scheduled to take place every Thursday in July. All performances will begin at 7:15 pm and end at 9:00 pm. There is truly something for everyone to be found in the musical selection. Pack a picnic and head down to Flint Park on a Thursday. The concerts will take place regardless of the weather conditions.
