Familiar Sculpture Now in Union Square

PURCHASE– If you venture up to Purchase College much, you know graduate Malcolm D. MacDougall III’s Microscopic Landscape 2010, a recognizable landmark at the entrance to the SUNY Campus.

You can see it now in Manhattan’s Union Square. The 24-foot-long by 11-foot-tall sculpture will be on view in New York through January, 2013.

MacDougall, who grew up in Ardsley, attended Purchase’s School of Art+Design. While there, he received the college’s first President’s Award for Student Public Art on Campus.
