The Mamaroneck Board of Education has distributed an e-release announcing it has changed its mind about extending the property tax deadline for those affected by the flood:
Upon further consideration of logistically complex State regulations and the follow-up actions that would be required of the School District and the Town of Mamaroneck, the Board of Education today announced that it has rescinded its decision to provide residents impacted by Hurricane Irene a 31 day extension on property tax payment.
