From Thomas Paine to Ossie Davis. New Rochelle dedicated a “Walk of Fame” at Library Green on Saturday, despite the weather. 25 distinctive interpretive signs, created in honor of famous residents, were  unveiled.   Go have a look next time you’re downtown.

yes, I’m from new Rochelle. went to mayflower elementary. lived right on the border of the mayflower and Barnard school districts. back then, Barnard had a better reputation, but it also had a lot of racism. city park — including the projects, was also in the Barnard school district. so why did Barnard go charter school? to kick out the black kids from the projects?
