About two years ago we did a story about a Mamaroneck man who grabbed the scrap wood in front of the Mamaroneck train station during the first renovation phase (the station is soon to unveil a restaurant and offices) and hauled it less than a mile to one of the country’s finest architectural woodworking shops. That wood included some of the original 1888 beams.
Soon, it was a beautiful farm table.
Culin and Collella is now selling modular furniture online straight to consumers from that warehouse in the Flats, as this story from Woodworking Network tells us.
