3:30 pm, Larchmont Avenue Church- At Home on the Sound Presents: Review of the Mid-Term Elections with Professor Stephen Rolandi-Professor Stephen Rolandi will offer his interpretation of the election results, and what insights can be drawn on the current state of our democracy. 4:00 pm, Auray Gourmet, Larchmont – What to Wear? Does This Make Me Look Old?–Part of the Center for Continuing Ed.’s new series W.I.T. (Women, Ideas, Transitions) on reinvention inside and out Judy Graham, owner of Pink on Palmer and Colette Rodbell, personal shopper at Lord and Taylor, featuring fashion, accessories and make up tips as well as their personal stories on reinvention. $30 includes a glass of wine and light appetizers. 4:30 pm- Novelist Dinaw Mengestu at Purchase College Library (2nd fl)- It is the finale of this season’s Durst Distinguished Lecture Series, which brings some of the literary world’s most acclaimed authors to the Westchester community. More info
