On Sunday, November 13, participants will sweat the day away along the Boston Post Road at three different studios in Mamaroneck. Push Fitness collaborated with Fiore Pilates and Tovami Yoga to present Sweat for a Cure, bringing people together for a great cause through a day of fitness and fun from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The three studios, all located in close proximity along the Boston Post Road, joined together to provide participants with back-to-back classes. One of the combinations features a meditative 8:00 a.m. Tovami Yoga class followed by a high-energy 9:00 a.m. circuit training class at Push Fitness. The full schedule with all class options is located on the Eventbrite page, where participants can make their reservations and donate $20 for a single class or $50 for unlimited classes. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
“Everyone has their story in regards to cancer,” Eddie Geideman, owner of Push Fitness says. “I lost my Dad to cancer when I was twenty-four. My hope with Sweat for a Cure is to have a small part in winning the fight against cancer and to honor the memory of the best man I have ever met!”
Sweat for a Cure registration is available at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sweat-for-a-cure-tickets-28797390771. Registration opened on October 25 and any additional donations will be gratefully accepted.
