Documentary Pays Tribute to Women’s Movement

She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry is the first theatrical documentary to pay tribute to the daring and often controversial women who, by fighting for their long-overdue rights between 1966 and 1971, gave birth to the current women’s movement.
The film does not shy away from controversies over race, sexual preference, and leadership that arose in the women’s movement, and brilliantly captures the spirit of the time — thrilling, scandalous, and often hilarious.
After the film, the audience is invited to stay and participate in a discussion and Q&A with award-winning documentary producer Mary Dore.
The special screening of She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry and post-film discussion will take place at the renovated, state-of-the-art theater located at 175 Wolfs Lane, Pelham, NY 10803. Wednesday, January 14th, 7:30 pm
