The Larchmont-based acoustic quartet, Track Four, will perform great classics and current hits at Sheldrake Environmental Center’s first-ever “Wine and Whiskey Tasting” — a fundraising event to take place at the Zoland residence, 1005 Seven Oaks Lane, Mamaroneck, on Thursday, June 11th at 7:30 pm. ( Rain date is June 12.)
Ticket prices include hors d’oeuvres, desserts, beer and wine, in addition to the tastings being offered. A sparkling wine/jewelry raffle also will be held that evening.
Tickets for this event are $75 per person and can be purchased here.
“We are looking forward to hosting Sheldrake’s members and reaching new friends at this exciting summer event,” says newly appointed Executive Director Mary Ellen Kelly. “All of the money raised goes directly to support programming.”
Over the past year, Sheldrake educators have conducted more than 80 field trips for elementary school students in the Mamaroneck District, as well as producing creative, on-site pre-school activities, art programs, and camps. Member support is critical to maintaining these popular programs.
Another new component in the Sheldrake fundraising mix will be an Online Raffle. Launching June 1 and continuing through the month of June, the raffle will include an Apple watch; a golf getaway in Woodstock, VT; Broadway theater tickets; computer consulting; a naturalist-led tour of Sheldrake, including a gourmet, picnic lunch; and much more.
Raffle tickets will be $50 each, or 3 for $100.
