With a new school year comes a fresh opportunity for children (and adults) to learn a musical instrument. What if you had the chance to learn an instrument and play it in a band?  It’s a rock and roll dream come true for hundreds of people each year through  School of Rock.
Two local local Dads, Tory Ridder and Steve Kennedy– entrepreneurs and rock music enthusiasts– have joined two other partners in New York to open this location, close to the Mamaroneck train station.
 School of Rock, an international performance-based music school franchise, will soon open at 1 Depot Plaza in Mamaroneck. If you’re interested in learning more about its programs, an Open House and Grand Opening will take place Saturday Sept. 6 from 11:00am – 3:00pm.  Take a tour, meet the staff, watch a lesson.
