The sixth annual Friends of the Scarsdale Library Adult and Teen Spelling Bee, will take place Friday, February 5 at 7:30pm in the High School Auditorium. Teens challenge adults, families challenge friends and neighbors go neck and neck in an evening filled with excitement, prizes and rewards.
Grand Prize: Bose Headphones; Silent Auction Items include Test Takers; Raffle Items* include Yoga Classes, Spinning & Golf Lessons!
Sign up as a Sponsor or Friend of the Bee now! Sponsor and Donor Application forms are available at the Library or online at www.scarsdalelibrary.org/friends. Supporters are welcome to join at all levels, whether sponsor ($250 or above) or Friend of the Bee (Donation of your choice). Funds raised will continue to bring notable authors to our community, such as upcoming speaker David Stern, Commissioner Emeritus of the NBA.
The evening, emceed by Ed Coleman, voice of the NY Mets, will include a raffle, silent auction, and a trivia contest between rounds. Admission to the Spelling Bee is $5, and refreshments will be on sale.
Ticket holders need not be present to win.
