The Neuberger Museum of Art at Purchase College has a unique program for children, Open Studio for Kids. All kids welcome; programs are designed from ages 5-10.
The next Open Studio is Thursday May 16, from 3:30 – 4:45 pm.
Kids can come make art inspired by the works of artist Nancy Graves whose wire sculptures are on view in Then and Now: Modern and Contemporary Selections from the Permanent Collection.
Each studio session, a different tactile art project will be offered along with an afternoon snack and juice box. Young artists should wear play clothes or bring a smock so they can get extra creative.
Open Studios are capped at 15 child artists, so respond early to save your seat.
