The 52nd Annual Village of Mamaroneck Turkey Trot is taking place on Sunday morning, November 18. the Village says it expects approximately 1,500 runners registered for the race.
The race will start and finish in Harbor Island Park, with the following roads closed for the duration of the race, beginning about 9:30 am:
- Boston Post Road between Mamaroneck Avenue and Orienta Avenue
- Orienta Avenue to Rushmore Avenue to Bleeker Avenue
- Bleeker Avenue from Rushmore Avenue to Claflin Avenue
- Claflin Avenue from Bleeker Avenue to Rushmore Avenue
- Rushmore Avenue and Orienta Avenue to Boston Post Road and back to Harbor Island Park, with the finish line at Harbor Island Park in front of the Stephen E. Johnston Beach Pavilion.
Parking at Harbor Island Park will close at approximately 9:20 a.m.
START TIME: Gobbler (1 mile) race begins at 9:45 a.m. The Turkey Trot 5k (3.1 mile) begins at 10:15 a.m. Both races start and finish in Harbor Island Park on the access road near the beach entrance.
Awards Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. in front of the Harbor Island Beach Pavilion.
The race should be completed between 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Roads will reopen at that time. Participants will be able to register in person at the Village Recreation department located in the Stephen E. Johnston Beach Pavilion, Harbor Island Park from November 16th through race day.
