Some local peeps are taking the stage Saturday night, Oct. 1 at 8:oo at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester.
As their website says, Cougar Magnet is an innovative cover band that plays unique takes on a wide variety of vintage music from the eight track, mix tape and CD eras. Cougar Magnet sets are constructed to create a high energy show that will inspire both the hard core live music aficionado as well as the casual music listener.
Trumpet player, Steph Chinn is a music teacher at Mamaroneck Avenue School, and vocalist Melanie Kraut, is, among other things, President of the Murray Avenue School PTA.
Cougar Magnet is an eight-piece band, also featuring local talents Brian Cumberland on bass, Dave King on the blues harp, Bryan Dmuchowski on keyboards, Will Holden on sax, and Greg DiMiceli on drums.
Cougar Magnet, will take the stage about 9:45 pm after other featured bands, Deadgrass and Goose. Purchase tickets here.
